For sure non-turbo 98 V70 and 95-96-97 non-turbo 850 all used the same injectors in US spec cars. There are no doubt other cars use these Bosch yellow injectors but that's an easy list to work with. I've got a spare set of yellows from a 98.

93-94 cars have a handful of oddities, I'm really not sure if the fuel system has them too. I.e. I don't know.

SonicAdventure wrote: 09 Aug 2020, 19:46 I’m inclined to believe it’s probably the fuel injector, as the car was tuned up 1 year ago, new ignition coil, cap, rotor, wires and plugs. No issues at all since.
Lots of things can happen in a year.

Misfire one cylinder only. Most common causes are:
  • Defective or loose Spark Plug.
Defective or loose spark plug wire / coil over plug.
    Distributor failure.
    Low compression on cylinder.

On a car this old check the wiring to the injector for shorts. Inspect the wiring insulation. Could be worn through and intermity shorting out. Could be dirty connector to injector reducing the electrical power transfer to the injector.

If the car has ~200,000 miles or more, a set of remanufactored injectors would most likely pay for themshelfs in terms of saved fuel.
Thanks - I will check all the things you mentioned. The car has 84,000 original miles. It has been getting 22.2 mpg consistently for a mix of 50/50 city-highway driving.

Anyone know the proper ohm resistance specs for 850 N/A injectors - or - where I could get them?

Also keep in mind - the misfire codes are notorious for not reporting the right cylinder or even the same cylinder all the time, so you will want to keep an eye on that.

Are the wires Bougicord?
Huh, never heard or experienced that behavior with misfires?
To be sure the injectors are ok I would send them out for cleaning. There are plenty of companies out there that does this. Not too expensive and they will be like brand spanking new. Whatever you do, DONT buy any chinese knockoffs from ebay.
