1. Replaced my starter in the parking lot of my local Indie's shop because I had a junkyard unit in the trunk and they're nice guys. It solved my intermittent no start issue so hopefully that rules out my immobilizer and key column. Feels dumb that I was chasing such a simple problem for so long.
2. I originally brought the car to the shop for them to pair the new (FCP, Volvo reman) throttle body to the car. The guys are nice but they tend not to trust anything that doesn't come from Volvo. In their words and experience they said a white sticker unit straight from Volvo doesn't need to be programmed, so when it was running like a tractor they thought it was the ECU or something. I put my old unit back in the car and it ran fine, which they were baffled by. ETS light is back on so I'm thinking I'll just go to a dealer for the programming.
3. I had also put a Delphi MAF in from FCP at the same time, but got a new CEL code I hadn't seen before, p0171. Read up on it and it looked like it could be related to the MAF so I just put my old unit back in. We'll see if it comes back.
4. Brought my car to get an alignment after putting in that c70 delta link. Looks like I'm getting some rubbing on the outer wheel wells over bumps and sharp entry to inclines where the back end gets bogged down. I guess it shouldn't be a surprise as it added 2 inches to the track width. I looked into it and talked to a guy who intentionally did this swap on an 850 for stance reasons and he said he got rub real bad too, so he rolled the fenders. I don't feel like swapping a delta link again so I guess I'll be doing that soon.

May I be incredibly cheeky? If I recall correctly you've recently put a C70 delta link into your car. I've been looking for a rear arb for years now, and I've finally been offered one - from a C70.
Given your recent findings regarding track width, I now have no idea if this part would be compatible with my 850. Is there any way you'd be able to measure the distance between the mounting areas on the C70 delta link and compare it to your old delta link assembly?
That may also help figure out where the additional 2" of track was added.

The general consensus on the C70 delta link is to use it on an 850/S/V70, depending on your wheel setup, you will likely need to roll the fenders.
I'm interested to see where the extra length comes from, and if it's anything beyond just slightly longer trailing arms.
