850 pcv- can I go silicone?

Post by Turbolena »

I am wondering if instead of the GV hoses can I run the pcv with silicone of the same size? And what is the size of those hoses?

No, the oil will sweat through the silicone. I am not sure on the sizes though.

I just redid my PCV system again a couple of weeks ago. I used oil resistant hose with spring inside and an electrical conduct sweep.
