RN Swap Question

HI all

I have an oppty to buy a running complete car 2009 C30 2.5L manual 6sp turbo in good mechanical shape (bad exterior shape) for $1k. Its the B5254T7 engine

Will this engine/ trans fit in my 1995 855? How much work am i in for if i venture down this path with swapping this engine and trans into my 855?

Check out volvospeed, this is a much more common practice and has more coverage over there.

Pretty sure the C30/S40/V50 engines are not interchangeable with 850 engines. Swapping in the engine from a newer S60/V70 is pretty straightforward.
