97 850 GLT wagon, 100k miles - just bought new "antlia" wheels but found that center caps don't fit over front axle spindle ends. Dealer says axle ends may be after-market from previous owner (e.g. have also seen NAPA alternator on car so probably true). Anyway, seems that older caps from unknown year S70 are deeper and fit alright (a bit loose, but won't fall off) - how to spot these on parts sites when all just list as "850 / S70 / V70 etc" ?
