where is the Oil Pressure Sensor in my 1991 240 4cyl

Post by Amateurthinker »

I have a problem with a flickering oil light at low engine speeds and wanted to change the sensor... but didn't know where it was.

I just had some new alternator belts put on, and wondered if there were any oil pressure sender wires, that could have been disrupted.

Any ideas would be helpful...

Where is that sensor

Thanks

Unless it was moved on later year 240 4 cylinders. I think you will find it back of the oil filter on the right side of the block (driver position point of view). I think it will have a spade connection and is easy to knock loose.
