I do this when I’m on those nasty NJ highways at 75 in the slow lane, and can’t keep the safe 3 second follow due to 75 mph parallel parking. Being firmly back against the driver seat helps the air bag do it’s job.An instructor a few years ago taught me a good trick for non-racing seats: slide your seat back, tug the belt to lock it, and slide your seat forward so the belt presses you into the seat. Worked better than I expected in this car. I forgot to do it at the start of my second session and I was all over the cabin. The leather seats are like Teflon. My driving was much worse.
Is that the 421 dark green Chuck? Beautiful!
