Perf3ct in the timing marks, well done. It’s really high quality robust components in this system, but isn’t interval on the hydraulic system 70k?

Ah, I'm sure it is. Either way, it'll be good for years.

Here we go guys. Everything is bolted together and ready to be tested. I still have the timing cover off to observe the camshaft/timing belt and also watch the water pump for leaks.

Parts changed:

Timing belt/complete kit with water pump
Radiator/AC condenser/all coolant hoses/thermostat and thermostat housing
Rip kit
Snabb turbo inlet pipe
TCV
New turbo hoses
New vacuum line from brake master cylinder to intake manifold
PNP switch
IPD cold/ram air kit
Cleaned MAP sensor
Replaced 1 plug wire I messed up last year (was using old wire)
Multiple new rubber elbows/hoses
New dipstick and dipstick O-ring

I’m getting some coolant later and hoping for the best!
If everything works I can start putting the body back together tonight and hit the road this weekend.

I’m glad you guys were there for me this weekend!

So I ran and got some coolant and topped off the system. Double checked for any tools left behind or any hoses/connections forgotten and fired up the Volvo.

Nice and smooth idle, timing chain looks great and eventually system made it to temp and the thermostat and (pull a part) fan kicked in and did what they do!

No leaks, good idle, pretty smooth sounding car.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE HAPPY WATCHING MY BELTS/CAR IDLE IN MY LIFE!!!

Body put back together (for the most part, lol!)

Everything doesn’t line up perfectly but this car is a beater anyways (not a show car) I should be able to clean up the lines a bit from the wreck. Considering I did not take it to a body shop it looks pretty decent. I have 3 cans of plasti dip to smooth out the mismatched panels.

I test drove it and pretty decent to be honest. No I’ll effects from the wreck (alignment/pulling)

I have a subframe drop and complete suspension rebuild in the works anyways so even better. Im going to bed guys. Back to back 20 hour days between my job and working on this dang cat.

I’m not sure if anyone is watching/reading this thread.

But I got some more work done on the wagon.
New front struts (complete assembly...down to all mounting screws)
IPD lowering springs
New sway bar end links
Bosch (QC) front brake pads

This week will include new tires and rebuild the rear suspension (with lowering springs too)

I’m just going to keep pushing to complete all phases of the build.

What suspension did you put in? From your picture in the other thread it looks like it was running Bilstein B6s? They're a nice little upgrade over stock.

Unfortunately just some basic Amazon struts for right now. I did replace the entire assembly (bump stop, dust boot, strut bearings, all new hardware, sway bar end links, etc)

This is still going to be a major improvement over how it takes bumps and turns now!
