The problem with concrete blocks is they have no warning, they just crumble. They are not intended to support much load other than a widely spread weight from a stack of like blocks. Using them to support a vehicle loads them more than you would expect. I have used them when when I was young and they broke. Fortunately, I did not get hurt and learned not to use them for vehicle support. Get a stack of 2x6 boards or better yet more jack stands. We don't want to have you get hurt.CIK7 wrote: ↑28 Dec 2020, 08:50I did have 1 jack stand on both sides of the car...until I needed to support the driver side more so I could inspect the gas tank and decide how I'll get that off. Driver side currently has both jack stands with no blocks and passenger side has 3 blocks holding it up. I think 1 2-hole and 2 solid 4" blocks should hold 500lb just fine.
