Hey ya'll.

Here's the current whip.

Problems:

- Suspension needing upgraded / replaced (basically 0% left)
- Needs new tires after winter snow tire season
- Coolant leak (working to fix this week)
- Tranny fluid leak
- Stereo system turns on but doesn't play sound (shop disabled car alarm as it wouldn't turn off during tranny replacement, think there might be a short or fuse problem)
- Intermittent power loss / stalling (hoping it's not a blown head gasket interfering with combustion, as I may have smelled sweetness but do not see white smoke).

My brother is a kicka** mechanic and coming by tomorrow to check the issues. Will post up what I find but hoping to keep this thing running for camping this season.

Hit me up if you want at 513.290.9105.

Good to be here.

Hunter

Thanks @abscate, appreciate the welcome!

Ended up replacing the water pump yesterday, closer inspection with my brother (who's an insanely proficient and talented mechanic) revealed the upper o-ring was basically leaking like a sieve! It was essentially a danger by the rate at which it was leaking.

Did NOT expect to replace the water pump on my car this week, but $50 and about 12 hours later (had to wait for Advance Auto to get the part transferred to my local store), and the job is done!

Hoping to remedy the tranny fluid leak, would be great if it was just the pan gasket buuuuut something tells me it's the front seal, which sucks. I'll likely get in there on a warmer day and just nurse / monitor it until I have the chance to fix it.

Anyone know how / where I can start learning more about this 940? Articles? Other sites?
