I have a moderate oil leak, driver side. I am approaching 200k on the odometer. I've not ventured underneath but its due for an oil change. I have been putting it off due to the winter weather here in Ohio.
I've owned it for going on 3 years and has had a small leak since day one. The PO re-did the angle gear before my acquisition.
The leak is near the bell housing of the transmission and wicks back towards the front. It does not appear to leak while running (though I do get the occasional whiff of oil hitting the exhaust. Once the engine shuts off, I immediately start getting drips that continues for an hour or so before stopping.
Depending on the weather this weekend I would like to power wash the underside (I see no evidence topside) and take a look. What areas/things should I be looking for? I originally was thinking RMS, but its wicking/travel action seems to me to point away from that.
Thoughts?

Start with a glove test - excess pressure can cause leaks.
