A few weeks ago I met a guy who is a professional polisher and I asked him if he could help me out with my S70. It had a lot of scratches, especially on the front and rear bumper. Sure, he said, just bring the car and I'll do my thing. And he sure did! :D

The hood of the S70 still has a spot where the clear coat is wearing of, he'll be fixing that later this month. It also had some rust on it, but that's almost gone :)

I'm really happy with the results. I'll make some more photos when the hood of the car is "fixed".

That reminds me, i have to figure out a way to swap the majority of the front fenders from the crashed car to the new one. Looking for the rare nautic blue drivers doors as spares.

An old friend knew about my losing the motor in the Good Car, and between snowsqualls - while I was in DC - he delivered it. Now I just have to figure out
1) how to pay him back and
2) when I'll have the convergence of willing body extremities and cooperative weather.
It's a semi-shame the early S60s aren't worth much. This one seems to be a deer-strike victim, and would be an easy fix. Charged the battery, stuck the garden hose down its throat, and it started right up and didn't exhibit any bad habits.
I need to save the '00XC, so its bones will be scattered.
Once I get the prime mover back online, I'll start planning for the trans swap into the '97 T5
That should get me to Spring '22.

That looks totally saveable with some cheap junkyard parts.

What’s going on with the front wheel on the P80! Is that a work in progress?

On my trip to the grocery store and the pet store to buy crickets for our new pet lizard, I returned to find my tailpipe in sad shape. My attempt to straighten it out didn't work out so well.

Also, I think my V70 is being held together by salt at this point.

Yeah, that doesn't look too bad. I agree that it has more value as a donor car, though.

@Bruno, wow! Did that bend or snap?

That’s the coveted rear down pipe option.
