With the weather, shipping is a problem.

A thought just popped into my head - I roll the window down only once in a while - on a nice day, roll it down, roll it up when you get home. Why would it wear out? But the busy professional previous owner was the type to be hitting the coffee window constantly, and I'll bet that drivers window got a workout!

It is not trips up/down on these plastic clips, it is the years. Plastic does not age like metal even if it does not rust. Then it gets stressed and breaks.

Knocking those CVS off is press type work on the P80, maybe it’s easier on the P2?

Another option is to haul it off as you have and take it to a driveshaft place with all the jigs and tools for a couple of buckaroos

New one is pricy but I don’t like buying new oil, so I’m a bad date.

Well, my S60 might have given up the ghost and could head to the crusher (see thread), but today I'm going out in the ice and snow to continue trying to figure out what's wrong with my oil pressure and see if there's now engine damage.

In celebration of better times, here's my aftermarket head unit swap with a rare (overpriced) color-correct bezel (which came with absolutely no compatible mounting holes )

Oh, BTW, my drivers door glass reinstalled with new OE clips, no charge, under warranty, not even dirty hands on my part!

Upgrade all interior lights to led. Nice & bright. Going to do trunk but they were 36mm instead of 42m. Also had a 4 wheel alignment done. Was way out of spec but no damage.

One morning last week, on startup I got the "No Oil Pressure Stop Immediately" warning out of nowhere on the 07 XC70. Waited three days checked it each day, no change still there at every startup even after the weather got much warmer. So I swapped the oil pressure sensor with the one from my 96 850. Warning gone!

Been driving it yesterday and today, still no warning, seems to be "fixed" for now anyway. We'll see maybe an oil pickup o-ring is bad and it will be back - hope not!

I think it is a part that carries over P80 through all P2

I managed to disassemble the outer cv joint today. I cleaned everything up nicely then got as much of the old stuff out of the inner weirdness as well. The boot went on with a little bit of grease for lube and then we'll see if I repacked it with too much grease. Heh. I got the clamps in the notches I preferred and went to secure it but damn it if the new Performance whatever brand tool didn't break immediately. Sadly O'reilly's didn't have Lisle. I exchanged for the same thing (no real choice) but had to head home for my engagement photo shoot. Tomorrow I'll rebuild the outer bits and hopefully do the timing belt et al too.
