I have finally concluded it was the differential grinding and vibrating when I bought the car and after I replaced the carrier support bearing. The resistance from the rear diff through the driveshaft wore out the transmission, breaking it while shifting from Low to Third gear. Then after turning the engine about 4 inches forward, I tried to start it and it through something out the front ride side of the block wall.
