WHAT!? That's nuts... most yards charge $25 + a $10-$15 core for an alloy with a tire. $20 and no core if the tire is shot.
I was in a rush and i could have had them take the tire off and I did not feel like running around to pay extra to get a tire and have it mounted for just a spare.

They charge $45 for just the alloy rim and i didn't have a trash core.
Used to have a 01 c70 convertible

Yeah, makes no sense to go buy a new tire just for a spare.

Did an oil change on the wife's S40. So this Pentosin Performance 5W30 keeps a long time. We did about 4K over a year and the oil looked like it had another year of life left. The S70... well, still praying monitors magically repair themselves! :)
