I mis-remembered - it was the old cable-car terminus, and the guy had turned some of the underground cable vaults into a firing range so he could test bullet-proof vests. Both look good and somewhat reasonable in price. Too bad about the 2 dents on the left front and rear doors of the Ocean Race or that would be an otherwise excellent purchase.

I've seen a rather depressing amount of ORE V70XCs in junkyards. 4-5 IIRC. Never seen one in the wild. The latest were at the same junkyard a couple rows away from each other... I couldn't believe I stumbled upon a second one. I thought I was going crazy walking in a circle.
