also found this disconnected... between ecu box and coolant tank....my mechanic friend has somebody working for him and he had him swap the engine (big mistake) but apparently missed all these connections and doesn't know what the hell he is doing.

That’s just t he coolant level sensor, not material here.

Until you see the CEL light on in key position II, or otherwise verify your ECU is powered up, you will go around in circles, figuratively.

It's just an open port. Maybe to let the air back out that comes into the box via the snorkel tube.
Try to learn life's bad lessons vicariously through others.

Agreed that is a blank connector port. It's not a vent though, it is smooth on the inside. No wires, no holes, just a port.

The snorkel tube on the ECU box is actually an exhaust, not an intake. Air is drawn from the cabin through that fat round tube from the firewall, passes over the ECU, exhausts out the snorkel.

Check the main fuel injection relay on cooling fan carrier if it's getting power.
It's grey one.

Where are you located in PA? Maybe we have someone nearby who can apply the magic touch amd find the loose connector.
