Also get the chassis number. Which is the last six digits of the VIN number ( Vehicle Identification Number ).
Post both here.
Chassis number (last six digits of VIN): 019838
In VIDA i see several number for CCM:
serial number 000072052445
hardware number 0008651247 A
diagnostic number 08651251 A
Or should I disassemble CCM and read part number on it?

Just remove it from the dash. Part Number should be on the backside.

Regarding CCM.
They break. Temp sensor.
I managed to get them to work.
Enter program mode and exit. And they jump to live.
But for die again..

Look right below the Volvo imprint on the black case. Looks like there was a label glued there.

Paint markings are a dead give away that the CCM has been replaced with one from a salvage yard.

Looks like you got two options.
1. Get a hold of Yagger and find out if the one you have can be reprogrammed.
2. Get a 8691950 from a car with a chassis number no higher then 314999.

Something to look for when you debug the hw part of the cracker. At 500K baud the CAN tick happens every 2 us. Teensy running at 600 MHz is capable of detecting the signal level transition in about 100 ns (0.1 us).

The clean signal spread over latency buckets looks like that:

Code: Select all

                   us: 83 84 85 86 87 88 89 90 91
[ 00 -- -- -- -- -- ]: 0 194 1 1303 0 1319 0 183 0
[ 01 -- -- -- -- -- ]: 0 195 0 1314 0 1286 0 205 0
[ 02 -- -- -- -- -- ]: 0 155 0 1394 0 1246 0 203 0
Notice the odd buckets are almost always 0. Could be even buckets, but you get the idea: either odd or even.

This is an example of the bad signal:

Code: Select all

                   us: 83 84 85 86 87 88 89 90 91
[ 00 -- -- -- -- -- ]: 312 236 561 3966 1446 2811 327 339 0
[ 01 -- -- -- -- -- ]: 258 189 552 4255 1404 2772 267 301 0
[ 02 -- -- -- -- -- ]: 250 201 522 4196 1461 2802 274 292 0
[ 03 -- -- -- -- -- ]: 267 190 552 4106 1492 2866 272 253 0

Hello, I made a cem cracker.
Programmed it and connect it to the car, but it doesn't work. When I start the serial monitor without connecting to the car, the serial monitor starts to work, but when I connect it to the car, the serial monitor won't start.

What could be a problem?

Thanks in advance!

Make sure you have common ground with the OBD-II connector.

Post the schematic, your parts list and pictures of your build. So we can see what you have.
