Well.......that was stupid! Help! Topic is solved

Well.......that was stupid! Help!

Just ordering some parts for my XC to include Timing belt kit and PCV kit etc. Went to clean off the engine serial number sticker so I could read it and used Brakleen to clean off the grease. The solvent took off the numbers and now I cannot read it! Can I find this number anywhere else? Thanks.

That reminds me of the time I tried to carry a little gasoline in a styrfoam cup.

i dont think there is a chassis break on the 2003 timing belt but if you post up your last 6 of your VIN that might help ID the right parts too.

Timing componets breaks are based on engine serial number not chassis number.

On the back of the block, can't be seen directly because its under a bodywork lip.
After you find the location clean it with carb or brake spray and a toothbrush then put your smartphone in there and take a few pics.
