I replaced the timing belt water pump tensioner and idler. I did remover the top and middlebox around the TCM ECM for more room.
When I went for the test ride the transmission barely got me home. the thing would go in and out of gear, downshift and sequel the tires, stall at a stop, and need more throttle than it should, and slam into gear from a stop.
I did buy the tool and removed it and reset it with no change in symptoms
there were 26 TCM codes I did not write them down, the next day rescanned and no codes are listed I did not drive it after the scan, as it probably would not get me home.
So after all that, the question is do, I send the TCM to XeMODeX

I have been trying to look for it, but on one forum, there was a post about a Volvo independent asking for help. Almost same symptoms as you are describing with a T5. He went the route of replacing the transmission and had the same results. It ended up being a broken ground wire. I would check all the ground/electrical connections.

General rule of repair. If the condition was not there prior to the repair double check your work and areas that may have been disturbed. Masscomguru's suggestion follows this rule and is an excellent suggestion.
