Only 1 in the states, I didn't call any dealerships for it. FCP doesn't carry them.
For a minute I thought I was going to have to rig something. Didn't think about buying extras although I should have.
For my next 850, not this one..
Sure they do, $25

I'm worried myself. My 850GLT is relatively good condition, and low miles for its age. But there are parts no longer made etc
I'm concerned at some point the car won't move because some part is broken and its no longer made nor found, that would be a really sad day.

Could be worse, you could have an AWD P80. Lots of parts at the back end have been NLA for several years. Try getting an OE muffler for a 2000 'R'? Not been available for about 6-7 years.

SO what do you do for muffler? No all wheel drive here. Though my next car, if I get a new one might just be AWD. Had a 4 wheel drive Subaru before AWD was a thing, and it ran great in the snow. No other cars had it yet.

Not sure how good any maker's AWD are.

I love having a standard transmission. I also don't like how all the engines seem to be 4 cylinder with super chargers/turbo, when many of them should be at least 6 cylinders. I drove a 2022 XC90, nice inside etc, but at 4000lbs it has a 4 cylinder.

There's a delay to get up to speed beyond the normal automatic transmission delay. Seen this in all the new cars I've driven so far, not just Volvo. It sucks to be honest. Someone is going to get killed because of this delay in acceleration.

What delay? Volvo went back to all 4 cylinders because they can squeeze plenty of power out of a 2.0L . The highest number I seen so far for one of the new four cylinders is 350 hp. The red blocks had less power and yet Volvo still achieved one of the highest safety ratings in the industry.

To waste limited resources on excess power is irresponsible. Excess power gets people killed. Just look at the number of people that crashed a Challenger SRT Hellcat just a few hours after purchase.

The way to increase safety and protect the environment is to limit the power to weight ratio. Volvo has figured that out and is applying it. I am happy Volvo is looking out for people and not putting death machines on the road.
