A couple months ago I spent $50 on a bank wire for about $900 of parts.
Still not shipped, they had a problem & I let it lie.
Maybe I can tell them to include them in the group shipment somehow.
Need a couple of ABS system parts connected to the brake system.

They have a vendor that will rebuild the TRACs module, but they need a core first.
I tossed it & replaced it with non-TRACs.
Need a non functional TRACS to send them.
At this point I might pay for a functional used or new old stock.

So there is an email from a couple days ago saying they will sent the ONE part they have.
Well, I hope I was able to stop shipment.
I'm not sure of which of the first two they have, I asked...

What I want:

Cap, Brake fluid reservoir brake fluid
Product No. 1074164
Reference: 9438753

Sensor, Brake pedal travel
Volvo 850
Product No: 1027160
Reference: 271892

I would also like to buy this part, however I cannot return the "core" since it was replaced with a non-TRACS version:

Did you talk to Matty at Midwest ABS about that controller? He does them from Michigan and has a long excellent track record.

You're referring to the first two parts?
Long ago I asked some module repair business about the TRACS and they did not do them.
This part:

Is not the TRACS module, its something else.

Well Skandix already shipped the first two part numbers, so I'm still looking for a TRACS module either working or as a core to send to them for repair.

I don't recall. Engine bay. Odd shape 1" thick metal trapezoid maybe 6-8" on longest edge; has a huge pin connector, maybe 48 pins in a couple rows. Is held in place by a lever-latch.

I've never seen anything like that on my car with TRACS. Is it really well hidden?

Was it on the drivers side fender, perched above the brake module ? Brake lines etc underneath ?
