2003 Volvo XC70 Fault Codes SWM and PDM

Hey all, so after using my dice today I discovered three codes on my two volvos, ones a 2003 XC70 and the other a 2002 V70. There is no check engine so I'm thinking these aren't that much to worry about but curious if anyone know the cause and how to fix

XC70: SWM-0003 High beam flash activated too long

V70: PDM-0016 Central Locking motor M2 Signal missing
PDM-0010 Central locking motor M1 Signal missing

I have noticed the high beam indicator on both vehicles are intermittent but thought that might be the bulb, after testing dash with the dice they both lit up fine so maybe the SWM code is a problem on both.

Any thoughts what it could be would be greatly appreciated.

You clear the codes and do nothing.
If something was not working then those codes would be a help. With no malfunction they are codes telling you that someone held the turn signal lever in the rear position too long, and the two locking motor codes occur from pushing the lock knob down or blocking the upward motion of the lock knob by having an arm on the top of door panel when the locks are unlocked.
If you pull full vehicle codes from full network vehicles and do not find codes like those it is unusual. IF you click the DETAILS tab once you double click on the fault code on the fault code list you will see it occurred some time back and you might also find it has occurred a few times.

I did clear them so I'll check in a month, I'm only assuming the doors still lock but I'll definately start checking that, maybe its just sound I'll leave it alone until either starts malfunctioning, it's just nice to know what some of these electrical gremlins are as most things eventually stops working and I panic.

Yes - the car sets those codes for *anything* that goes wrong. If your side mirrors have too much ice on them & you try to move them it sets a code. If you block the lock (as mentioned) it sets a code. You even get random errors occasionally - e.g. I've had the car loose communication with siren module for example & it set a code but never reoccurred so wasn't anything.

Be sure to click on each error to bring up details about when it first occurred, how many times it re-occurred, etc. The car isn't trying to diagnose itself, but just telling you information that may be useful to some error you're looking for (or may be totally irrelevant).

I know on my car the lock sometimes doesn't work (sticky), but I'm used to always checking for the flash of the hazard lights to confirm everything has locked OK anyway.
