Mornin’ Jon boy

5/16 is an almost perfect fit for 8mm, so if it’s tight enough to split I would go with 9 or 10mm. You could clamp 10mm with zip ties if it’s loose. The turbo valve vacuum lines see pressure so should be clamped.

Good night , jonboy

So, for anyone who has read this far.....

Here was another portion of the solution....that I should have done the first go round. If you're going to the trouble of replacing the turbo hoses, just do yourself a huge favor and buy the Evap hose assembly and replace that as well...trust me in this - don't try to do a DIY fix it on the assembly. And if your TCV hasn't ever been replaced....its probably time.

You can thank me, and the rest of the contributors, for this later. :-)

P2097 Woes... AGAIN.... V70 2.4T (P2)

Have fun!

Those short term fuel trims are great , nailed in low.

Have a check of your fuel pressure to see if it is in spec. If you are on your original fuel pump, it’s getting long in the tooth.

And for anyone who has read this far....

There was one more piece to the puzzle - a leak in the air intake between the MAF Sensor and the Turbo intake. Have a look at this thread:

For anyone who has gotten this far, to close the loop, the other lines that were larger in diameter and looked like fuel lines, those are actually an assembly, here:

If you want all of the nitty gritty details, go here:
