Hey friends, sorry for the long delay on an update but we've been working somewhat opposite schedules so i haven't gotten to drive the S70 much. I've driven it a couple times the last couple weeks now and haven't experienced the issue she loosely described where she's completely had to restart the car. What i have experienced (and she said has happened to her) is occasionally it will completely lose acceleration for 2-3 seconds but not stall. She's said she notice it happens mostly in 2nd or 3rd. I've noticed it in <30mph flat ground city cruising with my foot held steady at one point on the pedal, which makes it very apparent that the power cut out and not that my foot slipped off the gas. Electronics seem to be fine when it happens as well. She said it hasn't happened again yet this last week or so.

Today i finally got part of an afternoon with it, scanned it for codes with an Autel scanner and nothing came up. No lights either. I haven't dug into much else yet, but the way that it loses all acceleration but doesn't stall in these cases steers me away from fuel since a total loss of fuel would completely stall the engine?

Anyway i gotta go check connectors and terminals and what not, just a little hard to figure out when the problem isn't consistent so i wanted to check if anyone has some more thoughts. Thanks again

Those problems are tough to diagnose.

Is ignition switch, electrical part new?
Go through all the connectors looking for corrosion and detritus.
Usually and ETM fault will light up the ETS light on the dash but that also comes with codes.
Basics too. Battery cables, buss cables, and the big connection in the kidney fuse box
