This is a bit hard to understand; do you mean they mount outboard of the headlight assemblies? Parts diagrams over here show two item numbers, 9151655 and 9151656, but it seems to be an issue regarding how the blade fits the arm. Maybe a picture, or a GB part number would help ?
hi its the front windscreen not headlamp,rh drive are mirror image of lefthand drive arms/stalks not blades,there the easy bit!
A suggestion would be to start a new thread here, asking our RHD friends how they have solved this problem. There may be an aftermarket maker we don't know about in the LHD world.
If you can better define 'knackered', there may be a fix or workaround.

Replaced the blower motor. Pretty easy job and now have heat flowing again

I also replaced the blower motor resistor just in case it decides to give up the ghost in the near future.

Did you get a good look at your ac evaporator while you were in there?

I did not. AC is working. What should I be checking? Will probably have to go back in at some point.

It’s worth having a peek at the evaporator for black grease streak indicative of a leak. It’s about 6 hours of stupid work to replace it, along with $100 in parts. You can view it anytime by pulling the motor “resistor pack” and looking in with a mirror

Did some real winter driving yesterday. One thing i wished is i had taller snow tires. The car was great but once the banks got above the bumper it went a bit hairy. Rocking back and forth never seemed to fail.

I am going to have to reschedule a brake job with my mechanic as yesterdays storm closed all the roads.

Added a bit of ATF to the transmission, and power steering, and changed the trunk light bulb to LED, hoping for better light...we'll see, as it wasn't as bright as I thought it would be during the day.

Before I drove the T5 with the leaking steering rack around town, I struggled to start the car. It cranked right up and stalled, then took a few attempts at cranking to get it started again. It’s the third time in two different P80s this week that I had troubled starts.

Still wondering what to do with Blue Steel after the failure of a newly installed steering rack. viewtopic.php?p=591923#p591923 It’s such a great car, but I’m rattled.

Bought new taillight bulbs for the XC90.
