That is the area where the optional Audio Power Amp and CD Changer goes. Do you have either one of them? The two mount on a bracket between the quarter panel and the trunk liner .

Is that C70 Volvo paint code 436 Cassis metallic ( Wine Purple ) ?

Hi RickHaleParker , Yes that is wine purple , i have factory amp 4X100 but i dont have cd changer but i see changer cable near to amp bracket. They ara left side , i see this cables right side and one connector jumping with one wire.

Connectors for towing wire harness. Look up Volvo part number 30681980.

Hello, I didn't know if I should open a new topic or continue here, but every day I see a new free socket in my vehicle, it bothers me, actually I have a cable guide, but I couldn't find some sockets, for example, this three-pin socket that came out from the bottom when I disconnected the battery for charging the other day. It looks like it's coming from the channel of the positive cable, but what is the line?
