All done! We did 3 new keys. In addition to this, for my original switchblade that I broke the transponder for, we re-coded a new Id48 chip so that switchblade is now functional again. All in all, it took a little under an hour to do 3x keyless entry programming and 4x immobilizer transponders (ID48 chips). Including key cutting (x5, I elected to make some spares), I am at about 1/4 the cost at a dealership.

Bart, you do NOT need the ViDA software to accomplish this, just the DiCE unit (which you can freely borrow from me now that I’m finished).

I would highly recommend getting a dedicated laptop set up just for use with ViDA, though. The vastness of information in ViDA is pretty impressive!
