Transport switch fuse?

Post by FredV »

Not sure what a transport switch means on my Volvo fuse panel.
I picked up 02 S60 T5 last month as COVID lockdown keep me busy project.I am trouble shooting a parasitic drain.when popping the fuses out On the drivers side fuse panel and noticed fuse 20 was blank on the fuse template but I have a 5amp fuse in place.
I found a fuse template online that indicates #20 is a transport switch . No idea what that is. If anyone can educate me,great.
Looks like my drivers seat fuse 30amp is draining 0.81amp. Must have another drain somewhere still showing 0.11 amp drain.I believe amp drain should be 0.02 when all modules are asleep. If I eliminate the drivers seat drain, is the 0.11 to much drain?
Thanks Volvo newby

I have this question as well. Fuse 20 is populated with cables as well, but has no assignment in the manual. Why is this? I’d really like to know.

Maybe it's for diesel engine, glowplugs or whatever they use.
