Can you test an engine cooling fan out of the car?

WD is great for displacing water and
loosening things up, but soak those
bearings with TriFlow or some kind
of actual lubricant so they stay happy.

Normally I do, but that was at hand and it was just to see if it was a dry bearing. It was. This will now probably end up in the 'stash' somewhere in my garage if I can find room for it!
