Almost 10 years ago... July 2012. 850, roomate, and his Ford in background. Fatherhood is the best thing that's ever happened to me.

Good eye! All my Volvo stuff got worn out… hats and a blue pullover. Not ever replaced, not counting the dozen or so Volvo shirts I wear/I’ve had made, and the few I’ve made DIY with block cuts/“printing” on blank t-shirts.

abscate wrote: 13 Apr 2022, 07:09 Are those “remove before flight” tags on your keys?
Amazing eye! Yes. I used to fly quite often with my uncle in my 20s. He had a Beechcraft Debonair, or Bonanza. Many trips from San Diego to Baja. Every so often when reversing in my car I’ll roll the window down and yell “CLEAR PROP”. It’s still in my blood.

BB I wish you could have met my son. Oh well, next time. (He was with his mom for Xmas.)

We should have gotten a photo together when you were here. Also next time.

My Dad got dragged over here in 65 to do Saturn V , Lunar Lander (trivia…the only non redundant system on the mission ) and Space shuttle, after doing Concorde

At his funeral, the guy who led Stealth at Lockheed said “ we never really could understand his field, it was really difficult “

Nice praise ftom rocket scientists.

We should cross link MVS to some of the fine photography Fora on the inter webs, I think the personalities would match well…..

A real rocket scientist, huh? Cool.

Stuff I am posting here is more 'snap shots' than 'fine photography'.

I'd call if 'fine snap shot photography'. Makes me want to visit Scotland and Utah both. I've been to 14 states so far but not Utah yet.

Is it just me or does Matt look a lot like Bill Hader?
