How to clean and fix V70 base seats

I got the seats back from the detailer. Before and after pictures are below. They look much better, not amazing, but at least I can say they've been professionally cleaned. Decent value for the $125 it cost me.

Yes, $125 could have been put toward buying a new seat cover. But then I'd have to remove the old and install the new. And I'd have to do both sides to match. So $125 to clean them with zero effort on my part was a decent value.

I may try to fix that rip I caused. I would like to stitch that split on the side, perhaps using fishing line. How do you think that would work out?

It’s pretty tight to draw that split home with the skin on, I tried it in my P2 split, which was worse than that, and failed. Still, worth a shot.

I’ve got two of the cloth vinyl front seat skins from Abbys car when I changed them to nice beige leather, in nice shape. Added them to the Granite State Box
