What is this thing?

This part came with the manual pedal pack I bought on eBay. I have no idea what it is. My best guess is that it's a cruise control disconnect.

Anybody have any ideas?

I have something like that attached to my brake pedal. I saw it when I was exploring/replacing my brake switch.

Check the condition of the vacuum pump which is under the battery tray. I could not get the cruise to work on an 850 and found the battery acid had dripped down onto it and eaten a hole in it!

Under the battery? I thought that was the air injection pump. If not, where is the pump for the air-injection/SAS?
