Air flow

Hello all. On a 1981 244 the air intake from the air box to the injector has a ventura sort of, that should restrict air flow. Can i change this for a more straighter one with out doing any harm to the pollution crap thanks,Don

yes, you can change it. that design was supposed to increase velocity. doubt you'll see any difference between the 2. good luck, chuck.
