so its in the area of the brake booster, master cylinder, the three brake lines. Not at a caliper unfortunately.

I was under there for a while and could not pinpoint it on my own. Its a two man job as someone needs to depress the peddle while another sees where it comes from. Ordered a bottle of dot 4, and noted that its a drip when fully depressed. Fingers crossed its not one of the steel lines.

Took a look at the booster and no leaks into the cabin space. The booster does not make a wooshing sound outside of when the brake peddle is initially depressed. Noted the gaskets on the passenger control arm and tie rod are toast. Hit a few too many big bumps is my guess as the passenger side is in worst shape then the drivers side.

Will try to pinpoint the issue before i see my indy to help consolidate time.

If the brake master cylinder leaks into the booster you don't see it you only smell it. It takes a long time to fill up the booster before you will see anything!

Hopefully it is a flexi-hose of some sort that is accessible.

Checked every caliper and line while doing the winters and noted absolutely no fluid at the caliper connections or rear lines. Looks like im loosing all the fluid in an area starting at the master cylinder and below it. The leak has escalated a bit to the point where its a morning topoff if i do an exceptionally long drive 200/300km+

Unless this is a reservoir leak you need to stop driving this until it’s resolved. Any brake fluid use that isn’t from the reservoir means the pressure system is compromised and is a danger to others on the road.

Brake leaks are typically slow and you will not see puddles, but a wet cylinder behind the wheel. Crawl under with a light and look closely. Bad brakes scare me like nothing else.

Fluid was leaking through the abs master pressure switch and out the connector tab. First time my mechanic has ever seen that failure and we did not have the part in hand. It was epoxy sealed and I’ll swap it for one from my parts car on Sunday.

Tough spot to look for leaks, and a good find on your part. Thank goodness for parts cars; poor Old Blue has been harvested for my ride almost weekly these days.
