They're just such crazy complicated fascinating machines. Look at that second photo. Look at the big counterweights on the huge drive wheels. I wonder what one of those wheels weighs....

I lived about 16 miles west of Athol, so I drove through it quite frequently when I lived in Idaho.
Interesting tidbit... Washington potatoes were cheaper than Idaho potatoes, at least they were 10 years ago.

It’s a long standing ribbing I give Erik for living in a state that begins with an” I” that people from the coasts have no idea where it actually is.
I once one a nice bottle of Vodka at a sales meeting when I was the only one who could name all the Canadian provinces, I even got PEI, who happen to grow a fine russet.
