You need a working keep alive for 2003 car. And cracker does not support so called CEM-B units.

You need a K-line keep alive on a CEM-B only if your connected to the CAN diagnostics ports. Connected to the other CAN ports and K-line keep alive is not needed. The reason a CEM-B disconnects from the J1962 connector when not in use is because unlike all the other CEM types, CEM-B is a end node. If the J1962 connector where to remain connected, the internal terminating resistor would not be at the physical end of the CAN bus.

No successful crack algorithm for the CEM-B.

You need CAN transceiver(s), we do not support standalone CAN controllers for ab long time.

It is mentioned on schematic: https://github.com/vtl/volvo-cem-cracke ... ematic.png Others may work as well, like Bosch CF160.

very cool thread , although exhausting too read through approx 200+ posts. , to add this application needs to be able to evolve into being able to synchronise the ecu & cem on various versions.
