P80 AWD fuel tank plate hardware, photo needed 9463159

Can someone o the AWD club get me a pic of how these go on? I have to do this in driveway so it’s hard to get these sorted…

You ask and you shall receive! Fortunately the 'R' is tucked up in the warm garage and is nice and dry!

I do remember it is fiddly to fit as you have to make sure the rear edge fits in the fuel tank strap slot and in my case it only just reached. It should also just clear the parking brake cables on the side. They are held on with those plastic nuts like for the fender liners.

It’s obvious looking at the shape, but I have to lie in water to do this job. Once it Soaks through th coveralls life gets unseemly. I get about 30 minutes before I’m swimming

Use cardboard covered by garbage bag moisture barrier. Bag will be reusable, cardboard not so much.

Update, I got these back on but didn’t like the condition of the hardware on the car, so some holes and zip ties were used. I’ll add pictures here. In short , a nice zip tie around the gas tank strap and one on the side picked up support around the brake cables.

I had a pair of nicely refurbished tank straps but they went to a needy V70R my friend in Germany has a couple of years ago.
