Is it car work weather at your place today?

Post by volvolugnut »

Could you work on your vehicle outside today If needed? Is the weather too hot/cold/wet/windy/other disagreeable? Do you have to work on it anyway because you need to drive? Curious people with little to do want to know.

Currently, it is perfect car work weather here. Not hot, cold, wet, or windy.

55 here boss, at 12:30. But I’m going for a bike ride instead. I think I’ll swap out the snow tires and give her a wash later.

It is a bit cold here, right at 32°F/0°C. I got some more glue so fired up the space heater in the garage to keep pulling/massaging the dent out of the door on the 2002. Slow process but it is looking better.

It is 7:15 PM and Accuweather says is is 106 F. The high today was forecast to be 107 F. The low tonight is forecast to be 74 F.
My outdoor work day is getting very short - about 7:45 to 10:30 AM. By then it is near 90.
This weather will continue without much change for 2-3 weeks according to Accuweather.

With my life split between 12054 Albany and 11777 port Jefferson if I can get out of the sun both locations are good temperature wise.

I put EvitatheS70 on ramps in tree shade to inspect the evap lines yesterday, NPF. Running a bit high on fuel trims, 12-14%

Too hot here. Should be in a new house with garage in September. After that I can work on the car at night when it is too hot or with a space heater when it is too cold.

Too hot here as well, 90°F+.

Did an oil change on the kids Ford Focus this weekend, very easy job on that car. Decided to do a partial Steering Fluid flush on the 2008 S60, didn't quite have enough ATF to do the whole job plus the heat didn't help motivation.

Dunno the temp but it is too darn hot! Its mornings or evenings if I can muster up strength doing anything at all.

Beaten off the driveway by 1100 hours yesterday. Very hot for latitude 43 , upstate NY

We are flirting with 100F, very rare here.
