volvo 740 and 850 front seats

A quick question....


I would like to replace my front seats in 740. Are front seats from 850 compatible with 740 seats?

I've seen it done with 960 volvo's so I'd assume yes. Their about the same dimensions, your only issue might be the track where the seats bolt down.

Also you might have to swap the 740 console with an 850 from memory if there isn't enough room.
