1997 v70xc

Got a 97 v70xc. It blew out the oil dipstick and oil fill cap a few years back cause the cat was clogged. Pooped that open and it ran great for a few months. Although it leaked oil from a few seals. It sat for a few weeks and now has no power. Like no electric power.
So...it would start with a jump but now it wont. With a good battery in it shows clock in display. Hazards work and brights will flash. Fuel relay clicks when key is turned on. But nothing else. No codes as the code reader wont power or connect with my Bluetooth scanner. Jumping does nothing more. Starter turns when jumping the connections but does not hit the flywheel. Ground cables are all good. Any ideas before i take it to my high dollar mech?

It sounds like rodents have chewed wiring. Have you tried the remote starter connection to bypass the key switch?
