They look the same to me, am I missing anything?

Have a look in the Volvo online parts web store to nail down the part numbers.

I checked part numbers are the same.

I have always wondered the same thing since grills in the bumper cover do not interchange,,maybe the whole bumper cover does so it seems.
So if fender numbers match then there's you answer, and maybe mine as well
