Hello All. My very 1st post!
My 96 960 air conditioning works great as long as I'm going downhill or level. As soon as I start to climb a hill or accelerate to pass, the a/c stops blowing until the rpm's come back down. Once my rpm's have lowered and the engine isn't under load, the a/c blows cold again. Any ideas?

Welcome to MVS....I really don't know much about the RWD's and so hopefully billofdurham will be by to add his great knowledge. However, I do know that on some FWD's the A/C will cut out if the computer senses that it is to much drain for the engine such as going up hills. Maybe yours is the same way or maybe your car needs to have the A/C gas topped off.
