2008 XC70 skid plate screws

The skid plate dropped as all but 2 screws failed. I ordered replacement screws and found that the plastic portion, red in color, in the frame are either cracked or gone. There is nothing for screws to attach or anchor to. Does anyone have a recommendation to solve this issue? Thanks

Check both Lowe's and HD's specialty fastener section. I believe they may have something like those square plastic inserts with the screw attachment hole in the center.
