can you please explain the differences between the s70 glt, t5 and R.
From what I can tell the T5 is just a different turbo? the R has an upgraded suspension. Dont know much beyond that.

Welcome to MVS.
The GLT has a low pressure turbo which has great low end boost (around town) but not so much boost on the high end...the T5 has a larger turbo and more boost at the top end. The "R" was never imported to the U.S., but the European model has some nice additions to the interior...such as swede seat center leather pieces as well as door panels to match and a little lower stance with a "holding suspension" that is stiffer than the T5 but engine and ECU are not much different. From '99 the S70 was offered with AWD. Guess that's about all I know.
