My 2000 Volvo S80 T6

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

My 2000 Volvo S80 T6

Post by www.nevertypical.com »

I just wanted to say Hi to all the fellow Volvo owners. I am new to the Volvo family, and I have been looking for ways & ideas to enhance my car. I just bought a 2000 Volvo S80 T6 for $9900.00. It has about 70,000 miles on it, and was a trade-in at the Lexus dealership that I work at. The car runs smooth... and I enjoy it very much. I'm aware of some kind of oil leak near or on the turbo line... a bracket of some sort.. going to cost me $500.00 to have it fixed... other than that... I just had all brake pads replaced.. semi-synthetic oil put in... and I'm in the market for new tires... Hopefully this car will last me.

Looks really good. Did you have a mechanic at your dealership check it out?

Xactly true. Volvo's are fast, comfortable and very safe. But they're not "transportation appliances" like Japanese cars are. They do require a bit more TLC and the parts are more expensive. Nothing extreme in most cases, just a bit more.

How often should I use "Manual" mode, or should I even use it at all??
