Oliver (13) said (unprompted) he enjoyed talking to Steve and listening to him spill facts about physics and his experiences as a student at university... My son is more on the quiet side, and I usually have to nudge him to get anything more than a yes/no. But after Steve left to go back to Boulder, Oliver said he really liked Steve and what he had to say. TLDR = high praise.
Embarrassingly, I'd forgotten I'd met Steve before. Yes, you read that right. That's a symptom of a brain tumor I have that's conveniently located

My indecents are almost never that bad, nor are they common, but there it is... sigh. After my shock wore off after his polite reminder to me that we'd met, I do recall a bit about meeting him years ago here in Denver.So if you ever get the chance to hang out with Abscate I recommend it, especially if you or your kid is into science. Sadly I forgot to get a photo with us three grrr.
