Yeah, I wish these systems had a bleeder screw of some type. It would make things much easier!

I finally wrote “ coolant sensor “ on top of my p80 reservoirs because I got tired of sending my broken ones back to FCP for replacement

Nice 426 Silver I believe, just like the “Kat”

I wish I had that cool hood pop up, we lost that in 1999

Only about 100 T5M brought into North American in 1998, so that car is getting hard to find

Haven't actually checked the paint code yet. According to the title and the PO, a foundation bought 6 identically spec'd V70's. I'm now the 3rd legal owner.

My 1999 S70 had the same popup hood.

Apparently the low coolant light does work, or it started working this morning anyway.

Still waiting to hear if I can get a ball seat for the shifter.

Car has a bad stumble coming off of idle under load. I think next job will be a tune up. PO said ignition was over due. Also going to need to get some tires. Has 255/65 R16s off of an XC and they rub too much when cornering. I can feel my bank account getting lighter by the minute.

As in the 90 degree hood opening? All P80s have that after '99 too.

My 99 S70 doesn't seem to do that. I was disappointed because I think that idea is absolutely fantastic after using that feature on my 96 850.

Mercedes had the 90 degree opening hood since about 1980's. They needed it since the big grills were attached to the hoods.

I thought all P80's had the wide opening hoods. Now I will have to go check my 00 R. 454cid, can you post a picture of your hood hinges?

Come to think of it. The 2000 XC70 I robbed parts off of had the 90 degree hood hinges.

Right, I've never seen a P80 that didn't have them. Check your hinges, you should have these tabs that you can rotate.
