Put 5 new Volvo plugs into Evita, then troubleshooting the Bavarian Money Waster for limp,mode…

I just realized, I've owned 3 of the rarest P80s (in NA). A 98 S70 T5M, a 98 V70 T5M, and a 99 S70 AWD. I guess that settles it, I have to buy an R to have Volvo BINGO!

You need to track down a rare color R too... saffron maybe? Or you could track down maybe the 1 cassis purple R in the world :lol:

I owned that same set all at once, briefly. Sort of. Donated the 98 , still driving the 99 T5M and 99 S70aWD

I almost bought a Saffron S70, but it suffered a timing belt failure.

Were only Saffron V70's imported to North America?

It was somewhere near Philadelphia a long time ago, if I'm remembering correctly. Wasn't too interested in engine swaps back then

Car took 1 slighlty extended crank yesterday and more extended today. I suspect injectors or fuel pressure regulator is going out. Will pull the entire rail from the crashed car and swap in. The fuel relay was swapped and known to be good. Ran injector cleaner through it recently, headgasket sealant in the coolant which worked about 2 weeks ago (400-600 km ago) and i did note a little buildup of residues around injector and especially around the fuel pressure regulator.

Will post if it gets worse
