Good day everyone. I drive a 2013 Volvo S80 T4 engine, 1.6 turbo.
Two days ago, when I was parking the car in my backyard, a message appeared on the dashboard: ENGINE HIGH TEMPERATURE REDUCE SPEED. I got scared, stopped the car and turned off the engine.
But before the message, I noticed that the Air Conditioning was drawing hot air and this had been happening intermittently for days and sometimes it was necessary to restart the AC.
Coolant was on level, engine oil was on level, and last service was September 2022.
The computer identified the following error codes:
- B108177 - Left Damper motor module
- U300045.
On the same day I drove the car around and nothing happened, the next day nothing happened either. One aspect to mention is that these days the weather is very hot in my city, with temperatures above 35 degrees.
Is the left Damper motor module related to this?
Any opinions?
Regards.
